YWAM Nehemiah House Update

Posted on January 4, 2018 at 10:35 PM Comments comments (0)

If there is one thing people know about me, it's that I will always promote this ministry. I normaly say in a single conversation "hey did I tell you we need staff"? Well that is the case WE NEED STAFF! right now we have the home in Cagayan de Oro running with 19 girls, but the staff are down to 6 including my wife and I. The home in Malaybalay empty with just our farmer working there, but no girls and no staff. "Did I mention we need staff"?

So if you have a heart to serve children ages 7-18 years old who have been victims of abuse or child traficing I invite you to come join us on staff here. We could really use the help.

Gingoog City House closed

Dear Supporters and friends,

After much prayer and seeking the Lord's face we have closed the Gingoog branch of the YWAM Nehemiah House.

We were trying to maintain 3 homes with only enought staff for two. The effect of this was our staff were buring out. So we made the bold move to close the place. What will happen to the girls there? Well they have been moved to the other two houses in Cagayan de Oro and Malayblay. We have plenty of room.

Right after we did this the Lord confirmed this to be a right move by providing some staff to help us in Cagayan and Malaybalay. We have total peace about the whole process.

So what will happen to the YWAM Nehemiah House Gingoog City? We will reopen it in the future? The answer is only the Lord knows for sure. Right now our main focus is on the two houses and the girls. We want to do the best for them without burning out.

God kept the Gingoog house operating for 8 years and we are not discouraged at all. It is simply a new season and we welcome it with excitement

Thank you for praying for us.

In Him,

Michael Casey

Projects you can partner with us in.

Dear Friends and partners,

I got the idea to create a page where you can activly participate in helping us by praying or giving towards the project we list

Our first project is the Eves on the House in Cagayan de Oro. Since we built the house we never had the eves installed (over looked) now we have around 10 pegions living in the area making a mess of our walls, plus it is unsafe for the girls. The cost for this is around $500 to have it done. If you want to give towards this you can by using the donate tab on the web page and choose how you would like to give. Please make a note for the eves.

Last time I updated the web site was some 3 years ago. To be honest I was having difficulty doing it. I am learing Web design on my own and on my own time. Which now a days is less and less. None the less here we go.

We have been operating now for 20 years now our anniversay was 2 June 2016. It is amazing to see how God has provided for us over these last 20 years. We started with p3,000 and the passion to see change. Today we have three homes, more then 700 girls have walked through the doors of Nehemiah and all of them intorduced to Jesus the one who could change their hearts and release them from thier pain.

This is a picture of the staff and girls during our 14th Family day. Held evey October in connection with Children's month
